Steven De Haes

Steven De Haes, PhD, is Associate Professor Information Systems Management at Antwerp Management School and Guest Lecturer Information Systems Management at the faculty of Applied Economics of the University of Antwerp. He is actively engaged in teaching and applied research in the domains of IT Governance, IT Strategy, IT Management, IT Assurance, IT Business Value and Strategic Alignment. He is alumnus of the International Teacher's Program (Kellogg School of Management) and acts as Academic Director for the Executive Master in IT Governance & Assurance, the Executive Master in Enterprise IT Architecture and the IT Alignment and Governance (ITAG) Research Institute. He was Director of Research for the Antwerp Management School in 2009 and 2010 and currently holds to position of Associate Dean Master Programs.

He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Communications of the AIS, Information Systems Management, Journal for Information Technology Case Studies and Applications (JITCA) and the proceedings of the Hawaiian International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), the European Meditinerean Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS) and of the IRMA International Conference.  He is co- editor-in-chief of the International Journal on IT/Business Alignment and Governance and co-authored several books, such as "Implementing Information Technology Governance: Models, Practices and Cases" (IGI Publishing, 2008) and "Enterprise Governance of IT: Achieving Strategic Alignment and Value" (Springer, 2009).
