ITSM portfolio manager opening at OGC
the itSMFI Exec Board Chair (Sharon Taylor) has asked us to make our members aware of this new position of ITSM Portfolio Manager at the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) based in the UK (Norwich or London). The closing date is October 12th 2009.
These are the outline details of the role:
You will direct partner activities in relation to the delivery of IT service management products and ensure the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is effectively maintained and disseminated.
Your role will include liaising across UK government, providing expert opinion and advice on IT service management topics and making recommendations on public sector requirements.You will also co-ordinate the ITSM Reference Group to ensure guidance remains fit for purpose, as well as manage relationships with the international service management community.
A qualified ITSM practitioner and preferably ITIL qualified, you will have a commercial and delivery background with proven expertise in IT service management.You will also have good organisational and relationship skills with the ability to provide direction and leadership to others and successfully promote the benefits of working in new ways.
