ITIL 2011 - the first significant update to the Lifecycle Suite since 2007 - was published on 29th July. For service managers who rely heavily on ITIL guidance in their day-to-day work, and for those involved in ITIL education and consultancy, it is essential to understand what has changed and why, and what the revisions mean for the ITIL community. 

While the underlying ITIL guidance and principles remain unaltered, various processes and concepts have been introduced or revised to help clarify and strengthen the ITIL message and reinforce its unique position within IT service management.

The ITIL 2011 Edition Roadshow brings together authors, mentors and publishers from the ITIL Update project to explain what ITIL 2011 Edition means for service management practitioners, managers and advisors.
