Part I: Integrated service management
We have the people, the processes, the tools, but too often we are still looking at the three components from a narrow angle. Integrated service management looks at the whole picture, not limiting e.g. processes to ITSM processes but also including compliance, governance, embedding process automation in the technology and the tools. We will give you some insight in how to make it all work together.
About the speaker:
Bart Schoonaert is a business consultant working for Getronics Consulting since 2008, mainly in service management consultancy and project management, working for customers in various sectors. He is an ITIL v2 certified Service manager and ITIL v3 certified expert. Bart holds a master of science in Engineering.
Part II: A new hire in a few clicks - a customer case on IT process automation
How can you automate processes and best practices, such as those found in ITIL? In this presentation, we zoom in on IT process automation. Discover how one of Belgium’s largest logistic companies was able to internally reallocate several FTEs using the workflows of Microsoft System Centre Opalis to automate 2 key processes: new hire and software requests.
About the speaker:
Tom Theuwissen is principal consultant and joined Getronics Consulting last year. With a background of working in large and complex enterprise environments, Tom is knowledgeable in the area of systems management and is able to bring technology tools and ITSM processes together, whilst translating business requirements into manageable solutions. Tom holds a Master of Engineering degree.
